How I Fared in My Coding Journey This Year
So, I just got my #GitHubWrapped for this year, and honestly, my coding year has been pretty chill. I wasn’t exactly the best at committing code, I guess.
At first, I wasn’t going to talk about it, but I just couldn’t resist sharing.
First off, I made 37 contributions this past year. It’s not a lot, I know, but I’m all about quality over quantity. Plus, I ranked in the top 80%, which means I’m doing better than 20% of coders out there.
My longest streak? Just four days—barely a streak, I know. November was my most active month, probably because I was trying to impress someone or something. Weekends were my go-to days for coding because I be procrastinating all week and then realize I need to get something done before the new week starts.
And my favorite language? TypeScript. It’s like JavaScript but with a bit more class… literally.
my #GitHubWrapped is so lacking again this year; i wouldn’t even think of sharing it.

but, i’m still proud of it. i scored an impressive 80% in the universal ranking, which puts me ahead of 20% of all coders . . .
Next year, I’m aiming for more commits and longer streaks. Cheers to me!
